In the November issue of GQ, editor Jim Nelson writes about the "Animal House"-esque photos taken of American contractors in Afghanistan who were supposed to be taking care of the American embassy. He makes crass jokes of their immaturity and revolting intolerance, initially mimicking the voice of an unimaginative homophobe, but ultimately ripping them for the irony and backwardness of their message. This award-winning editor's article still gives me chills all the way down to the final line.

Please note: unless you like your sensibilities sufficiently offended, read the article all the way through.
